Food Network’s Food Paradise Show Features Local Fast Casual Restaurant, Grate Pizza, Mac & More

Roaring Fork Restaurant Group’s pizza restaurant to be featured on a national television series.



MILWAUKEE – (September 1, 2020) – Grate Pizza, Mac & More, founded in Milwaukee, WI is excited to announce that on September 30, 2020 at 8 pm CST, they will be featured on a new episode of Food Paradise “Monster Mashups!” on the popular Cooking Channel, owned by the Food Network. In August of 2018, the Cooking Channel’s Food Paradise crew landed at the Grate Modern Mac & Cheese location in Greenfield for a full day of filming for the fan-favorite, national television series.

Grate’s Vice President and Recipe Developer, Abby Hansen was the featured spokesperson for the episode and also featured was President of Roaring Fork Restaurant Group, Ron Stokes. The location, which is Grate’s second location, was filled with a camera and production crew of 8 people for an entire day of filming. “It was an incredible moment to get the call from the producers, asking if we’d like to participate in the show,” states Hansen. “Many of our team members at Grate and several of our guests had the opportunity to be involved and interviewed, so we’re excited to see how the whole piece comes together on TV.”

Roaring Fork Restaurant Group opened Grate Pizza, Mac & More with their first location in Menomonee Falls in 2017. The restaurant group wanted to showcase the flavors of locally- sourced Wisconsin dairy in all of their recipes, and is currently partnered with several Wisconsin companies to provide the staple ingredients on its menu, including: Masters Cheese for cheese, Sassy Cow Creamery for milk and heavy cream, Pine River for butter and cream cheese, Kemps for kids milk cartons, yogurt and sour cream, Ney’s Big Sky for ground beef, Klement’s for brats, and Patrick Cudahy for bacon. Since opening in 2017, they have garnered local and national recognition and awards.
